Lisa MarquisLisa Marquis is a named partner with the law firm of Easley & Marquis, PLLC. Lisa received her Juris Doctorate degree, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 1991. After practicing with the firm of Streich Lang in Phoenix, Arizona for two and one-half years, Lisa returned to her home state of Texas to practice with the downtown Dallas law firm of Johnson & Gibbs. When Johnson & Gibbs dissolved in February 1995, Lisa began practicing with Michael Wald, a solo practitioner in Plano.
Lisa was the 2002-2003 president of the Collin County Bar Association, and is the current chair of the Collin County Bench/Bar Foundation. She is an active member of the Plano Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, where she serves as vice-president. She is a founding member of the Collaborative Law Alliance of Collin County, a Charter Fellow of the Collin County Bench/Bar Foundation and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. In addition to her practice in family law, Lisa is involved in estate planning, wills, probate and guardianship.
Lisa and her family are also very active members of Rejoice Lutheran Church, an ELCA mission church in Frisco.
