Founded in 1992, Easley & Marquis, PLLC, is a rapidly expanding practice in the areas of family law and related custody and support issues, business litigation, and estate planning, probate and guardianship.

The primary practice focus of our law firm is family law. Whether you need an attorney to help you with the adoption of a child, custodial or support issues or dissolution of a family through divorce, family law issues evoke emotions unlike any other area of the law. Our firm is committed to helping our clients as they navigate through these issues to ensure that if children are involved, the best interests of these children are put first.

The firm’s founders, Sharon M. Easley and Lisa Marquis, who were recently named to Legacy Bank’s Wall of Recognition, are active in the Collin County community. Both founders practiced law in large firms before bringing their experiences to the operation of Easley & Marquis.

Easley is an active member of the Plano Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the 1999-2000 Leadership Plano Class. She is a founding member of the Collin County Bench Bar Foundation and the Collaborative Law Alliance of Collin County. Easley was also named Business Woman of the Year by the American Business Women’s Association in 2000.

Marquis served as the 2002-2003 president of the Collin County Bar Association. She is an active member of the Plano Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, where she has served as vice-president. She is also a founding member of the Collaborative Law Alliance of Collin County, a Charter Fellow of the Collin County Bench/Bar Foundation and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
